GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Wednesday, December 6, 2017 @ 11:00 am. in Pecan Cemetery.
VISITATION: Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm.
Windle O'Nell Turney was born on September 1, 1930 in Lubbock,Texas. He went to be with this LORD on December 2, 2017 at his home in Dublin at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 1 day.
He was the son of Joel Emit Turney and Mary Emma (Harvey) Turney. He was united in marriage to Adelia Pearl Bartley on December 22, 1948 in Meadow, Texas and to this union 4 children were born. Windle spent 35 years working for the Texas Highway Department. He also worked for Dublin I.S.D. as a school bus driver for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his wife on October 30, 2015 and a son - Kelly "Don" Turney.
Windle is survived by his sons - Gary Turney of Dublin, Texas and David Turney of Stephenville, Texas; his daughter - Sharlyn Mitts of the State of Tennessee; (9) grandchildren & great grandchildren; his sisters - Maureen Thurman of Odessa, Texas and Christine Northcutt of Dublin, Texas.
