FUNERAL SERVICES:Graveside, 2:00 pm. Wednesday, April 6th in Proctor Cemetery in Proctor, Texas with burial to follow.

Wilma Jo was born on January 21, 1929 in McKinney, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on April 4, 2016 at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 24 days. She was the daughter of Willie Gordon Smith and Tina (Short) Smith. She was united in marriage to Edward P. Carleton on March 17, 1946 in Houston, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death on May 1, 2013.

She is survived by her sons - Don Edward Carleton of Lakeway, Texas and Ronnie Preston Carleton of Arlington, Virginia; her grandchildren - Ian A. Carleton, Aunna F. Carleton, Travis L. Carleton and Lorena M. Carleton; her great-granddaughter - Harley Carleton and a host of other relatives. She was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother, and a loyal and caring friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Wilma was a member of the Methodist Church.
