Willie Frank Martin, age 84, passed away on February 14, 2017. He was born May 1, 1932 in Whitewright, Texas to parents, Willie Lee Martin and Robbie D Broyles.
Willie was married to Katherine Inez Stanley in Lubbock, Texas on December 12, 1954. From this union, Willie and Katherine welcomed three children into their family. Willie was a Christian and also a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He worked as a gate attendant for the Corporation on Engineers at Lake Proctor. His favorite things were his family, camping, water sports, and hunting.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, one brother & one sister.
He will be remembered by his wife - Katherine Martin of Katy, TX (formerly of Comanche, Texas); his two daughters and sons-in-law - Joanna & Joe Waits of Katy, Texas and Cheryl & Bob Howard of Huntsville, Texas; his son - Darrell Martin of El Paso, Texas; his grandchildren - Terra Romitelli, Bethany Waits, Franklin Howard, Eric Waits, Ethan Waits, Mary Katherine Howard, Rhiannon Martin, Ayla Martin, and Maria Martin; two great grandchildren - Payton Romitelli & Sydney Romitelli; his sister - Joyce Lewis of Lumberton, Texas and numerous other relatives and friends while will miss him dearly.
