The visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at the Harrell Funeral Home.

The service will be Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. at the Double N Cowboy Church in Dublin, Texas following will be a grave side service at Murray Cemetery in Carbon.

Danny was a Dublin man, he loved everyone he came in counter with.

Danny Prater, 75, passed away on September 17, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Dublin, Texas on September 10, 1944 to his parents George William Prater and Lela May (Vaughn) Prater. Danny was an vocational AG teacher at the Dublin High School for 31 years and was a member of the Double N Cowboy Church in Dublin. He married Debbie Prater on June 16, 1994 in Stephenville, Texas at the First Baptist Church.

Danny had a big influence on all of his students and loved each and every one of them. Danny played football for Ranger College and loved running track. He enjoyed rodeo and roping but most of all he loved bass fishing, quail hunting and all outdoor activities. He was a big breakfast man loved his "sausage, biscuits, and gravy".

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Pete and Aunt Esie Landes, and his brothers Charles and Gerald Prater.
