William Fred "Bill" Tatum was born on November 25, 1954 in Del Rio, Texas. He passed away on March 15, 2018 in Dublin at  the age of 63.  He was the son of Tommy Edwin Tatum and Fredabelle (Jones) Tatum.  As a young man, he loved riding horses, doing ranch work, camping, fishing and spending time outdoors.  He graduated from Cleburne High School and attended Texas A&M, eventually becoming a stonemason.  Bill was a hard worker and enjoyed his profession.  In recent years, he had been semi-retired and living on his farm, where he passed away suddenly.

Bill knew how to make a person feel at home and was always genuinely interested in what other people had to say.  He loved music, especially Leon Russell and Hank Williams, and he loved living in the country.  Those who knew Bill will have many happy memories of him outside playing with his grandchildren and dogs at the farm.  Bill was a caring, friendly person who never knew a stranger.  He will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Fredabelle Tatum, and his brother Jack Tatum and son, Daniel Tinsley.  He is survived by his sisters, Vickie Tatum, Melissa Tatum and Cindy Tatum Hobbs; his children, Brandon Tatum, Rachel Tatum, and Angela Tatum Steed, his grandchildren, Jade Tatum, Edie Tatum, James Tatum, Trenton Liggatt, Kayden Lane, Paxton Lane, Carlie Tatum, Netum Steed, Tommy Steed, MiKylie Tinsley and Arielle Tinsley and a host of other relatives and many friends.
