Welda Joyce Johnson, 81, passed away on April 5, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on October 31, 1939 in Purves, Texas to her parents Willard and Violet (Buchanan) Akin. She married Jimmy Johnson on June 6, 1960 and together they had two children. Welda was the owner and operator of Johnson's Gift Shop for over 30 years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her brother Willard, Jr. Akin and her sister Wanda Norris.

Welda is survived by her husband Jimmy Johnson of Dublin, Texas, daughter and son-in-law Judy and Brian Grimsley of Cedar Park, Texas, son Randy Johnson of Dallas, Texas, granddaughters Lauren Taylor of San Antonio, Texas, and Rylee Johnson of Denton, Texas, grandsons Zachary Taylor of Cedar Park, Texas, Ryan Johnson of Bullard, Texas, Alex Grimsley and Taylor Grimsley of Austin, Texas, sister and brother-in-law Glenna and JW Davis of Dublin, Texas and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Friday, April 9 from 6-8 pm.

Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dublin on Saturday, April 10 at 10:00 am.
