Walta Maye Morgan was born on December 3, 1930 in Dekalb, Mississippi. She went to be with her LORD on February 7th at the age of 84. She was the daughter of J. D. Conner and Ola Mae (Lang) Conner. She was united in marriage to Hiram W. Morgan and to this union 4 sons were born. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law; James Morgan of Weatherford, Texas, Howard & Marilyn Morgan of Dublin, Texas, Gary & Pam Morgan of Poolville, Texas, and Kem & Carolyn Morgan of Kingsland, Texas. (13 Grandchildren and (16) Great-grandchildren; her sister, Jane Leonard of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and her sister-in-law, Mary Conner of Liberty, Mississippi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas, where she taught Sunday School and worked with the 4-H kids.
