Twyla June Coan returned to her loving Savior on February 25, 2024, in Stephenville, Texas. Twyla was born on May 4, 1941, in Dublin, Texas to her parents, Delores and Aubrey Talmage Hood.

Twyla married Troy Leander Coan on January 19, 1962, and together they had 66 joyous years, and 3 wonderful children. She was a long-time member of the Comyn Baptist Church where she was always welcomed with great fellowship and wonderful sermons. She enjoyed her time serving 7 years at the Dublin ISD cafeteria, watching her beloved Dallas Cowboys play, golfing when time permitted, collecting rocks and marbles, and doing puzzles. Twyla played softball in her younger years, and adored her dog, Cam.

Twyla is preceded by her 3 brothers: Tommy Hood, Tex Hood, and Tike Hood.

Twyla is survived by her husband, Troy Coan, sons; Gene and Tammy Coan, Tim Coan, daughter, Terry Pendleton, grandchildren; Ashley Fulsom, Bryan Fulsom, Amanda Baker, Chris Baker, Stephanie Pendleton-White, and Dylan White, great grandchildren, Bryce Fulsom, siblings; Trudy Bolling, Ted Hood, Troy Hood, and Tony Hood.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm at Harrell Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Proctor Cemetery at 2:00pm.
