Thomas K. Wilson, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Temple, Texas.

He was born March 15, 1940 in Hempstead, Texas to Truman "Cotton" and Leta (Wiggins) Wilson. He married Rita Faye Chapman on July 27, 1968.

This wonderful man was a musician, a veteran who was proud to have served his country, a 50-plus year Master Mason with Carlton Masonic Lodge #519, and an active participant of the Order of the Eastern Star, Carlton Chapter #949 and Hamilton Chapter #215. He was a steamfitter by trade, Local Union #100 of Dallas, and a dairyman in Comanche County where he resided most of his life.

Tom is survived by his wife, Rita; a stepdaughter Kelly Westmoreland and husband Wes; sister Mary Hopper; two brothers Corky Wilson and wife Joyce, John Wilson and wife Virginia, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Otis and Truman (infant baby); stepson Douglas Sliger, and nephew Todd Wilson.

Honoring Tom's wishes, his ashes will be taken to The Big Bend of Texas where they will be placed in his favorite locations.
