Obituary

Sharon Marie Taff, born Sharon Marie Gore, passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 41. She was born on June 27, 1985, in Stephenville, and will be remembered with deep love by all who knew her.

Sharon found joy in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. She loved spending time at the lake fishing, searching for rocks, and enjoying fireworks. Those moments reflected her spirit and the happiness she found in being present with the people and places she loved. Above all, Sharon loved her children dearly, and that love was at the heart of her life. She also cherished her Allsup’s family of five years, a connection that clearly meant a great deal to her.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Aaron Taff, and her children, Michael Jessie Stanley III, Mackenzie Heaven Taff, and Mikayla Jordan Taff, who were the center of her world. She is also survived by her brother Jessie Ferguson and sister-in-law Michelle Ferguson; her brother Ricky Gore; her sisters Ginger Gilmore and Misty English; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Krystal Cole and Jimmy Cole Jr.; her mother-in-law Teresa Cole and father-in-law Jimmy Cole; her nieces, Celeste Powers and Alexia Cole, and father-in-law, Danny Taff and mother-in-law, Debra Taff.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Wyatt Ferguson; her grandfather Frank Saunders and grandmother Lois Ferguson; and her aunt, Sharon Saunders. Their memories remained part of her story and are now joined with hers in lasting remembrance.

A viewing will be held on October 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home, 112 North Camden Street, Dublin, Texas 76446. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home.

Sharon will be missed beyond words and remembered with love always.
