DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS: SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED
CHAPEL SERVICES: 10:30 am., Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in Harrell Memorial Chapel in Dublin, Texas.
VISITATION: 5 TO 7 PM, Tuesday, December 30th at Harrell Funeral Home.
INTERMENT: DeLeon Cemetery in DeLeon, Texas
Sammy Louise Jones was born on May 9, 1930 in DeLeon, Texas.
She went to be with her LORD on Dec. 28, 2014 in Stephenville, Texas at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 18 days.
Sammy was the daughter of Samuel Lewis Self and Kathryn Eola (Swagerty) Self.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Elvis Roy Jones in the early 1960's, her brother - Lewis Aaron Self and her daughter, Kathryn Beth Payne.
She is survived by:

Tracy Jones Hamilton of DeLeon, Texas
Her sons:
Randal Roy Jones of The Dominican Republic,
Michael Dean Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas,
Mitchell Ross Jones of Heber Springs, Arkansas,
Sidney Lewis Stewart of Senatobia, Mississippi.
Her Brother:
Tyre Rock Self of The Woodlands, Texas and
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Sammy was a retired L. V. N. and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dublin, Texas.
She will be laid to rest in the DeLeon Cemetery following this memorial service.
