Ruth Ellen Garnett, 74, passed away on March 21, 2022 at Lonestar Senior Care in Stephenville, TX. Ruth was born on May 19, 1947 in Matador, TX to her parents Leslie Tutt Garnett and Lois Odessa (Cook) Garnett. She was a retired teacher and real-estate agent. Ruth was a very involved member of the Grace Community Church in Roswell, NM up until her illness and was moved to Stephenville. She loved painting portraits of landscapes and animals. Ruth was also an excellent seamstress.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Tex and Lanita Garnett of Dublin, TX, her sister Ann Whitehead of Dublin, TX, her brother and sister-in-law, Tutt and Jena Garnett of Llano, TX, and numerous other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. She will be interred in the Roaring Springs Cemetery in Motley County.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
