FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 pm. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Harrell Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 6 to 8 pm. Tuesday, May 17th at Funeral Home.
INTERMENT: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.
Paula Patrecia Cox was born April 21, 1934 in Haskell Co., Texas. She went to be with her LORD on May 13, 2016 at the age of 82 years and 22 days. She was the daughter of Boyd Decker and Willie Blanche (Grinstead) Decker. She was married to Dale Medford Cox on July 3, 1953 and to this union 3 children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband in October of 1994 and by her brother, Billy Boyd Decker; her granddaughter, Carrie Dalette Cox and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Cox.
Paula is survived by her daughter, Paulette Cox of Dublin, Texas; her sons & daughter-in-law, Rudy Cox of San Antonio, Texas and Donny & Angela Cox of Granbury, Texas; her brother & sister-in-law - Jackie & Margie Decker of Hico, Texas; her sister - Gwen Brown of Brownwood; her grandchidren - Trint Stephens, Lexxie Stephens, Mandy Stephens, Tony Valtierra, Stephanie Smith, Allison Cox, Emma Cox, Anthony Lopez, Justin Dale Stephens, Telenia Stephens, Eric Olalde, Kayla Lopez, Gabriela Stephens, Adriana Moreno & Makayla Moreno; and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Paula was a teacher for the Dublin Independent School District for over 30 years before her retirement. and a member of the Baptist Church.
