Obera M. (Holdridge) Ethridge, 95, went to be with the LORD on June 4, 2017. She was born in Clay County, Alabama on November 2, 1921. Her parents were Earl Holdridge and Essie (Yates) Holdridge.

Obera graduated Comyn High School. She married Cecil Robert Ethridge on Novenber 19, 1938, in Dublin. Together, they had three daughters: Martha, Clora, and Barbara. Obera worked in the Payroll Department for Colburn's in Fort Worth for over 30 years. She also attended First Baptist Church of Benbrook and Erath County Cowboy Church.

Obera is preceded in death by her husband - Cecil Robert Ethridge; her daughters - Martha Kelly and Clora Hadaway; and one grandson - Michael Hadaway.

She will be remembered by her daughter - Barbara Gibson of Granbury, Texas; her granddaughter - Shelley Sanders of Stephenville, Texas; her grandsons - Randy Gibson of Granbury, Texas, Pete Kelly of Crowley, Texas, Emitt Kelly of Mansfield, Texas, Tommy Hadaway of Fort Worth, Texas, and Quinn Hadaway of Weatherford, Texas; nine great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren; her sister - Ruth Brunett of Granbury, Texas; her brothers - Bobby Holdridge of Houston, Texas and Edwin Holdridge of Granbury, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her greatly.
