Michael Dean Sullivan, 71 of Cisco, Texas, passed away on January 08, 2022. He was born to Lee Edwards Sullivan and Adelia Lavon Darland, October 28,1950 in Levelland, Texas.

He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1969. Michael is fondly remembered for his love of God, his wife, children, and Dr. Pepper.

Michael worked hard and was devoted to his family. He was a loving husband, daddy. and grandpa. Michael inherited a love for cooking from his granny, mom, and dad. His daughters took advantage of this and asked him to cook during holidays. He was always happy to comply. Mike loved to read and passed that love onto his daughters. He liked to watch old reruns on TV. He was quiet except for his quirky, loud barky laugh...when he laughed, you definitely knew that Michael was in the building!

Michael and Venus Angela Cruz married June 16, 1984 in Abilene, Texas. Together they raised his two girls: Tammy and April from a previous marriage, and they had two children: Sally and Vanessa. They raised two grandchildren Anna and Justin.

Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years - Venus Angela Cruz. Daughters - Tammy (Drew) Sawyer, April (David) Wells, Sally (Gary) Christeson, and Vanessa Sullivan. Grandsons David, Justin, and Jaylin. Granddaughters Anna, Judith, Jade, Zoey and Zofi. Brother Gary (Corda) Sullivan, and Sisters Shonie (Phil) Castañeda, Pat (Danny) Compton, and Sandra (Louis) Correia. Many extended family members including his brother and sisters in law Alfonso (Deanne) Cruz, Salia (Robert) Wilson, Corina Freudenberg, Terry (Ronald) Liles and guardian angel parents Tricia and Selene Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lavon Sullivan and Grandparents Coy and Myrtle Sullivan and Bert and Elzie Darland.

Service will be Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Harrell Memorial Chapel at 10:30 a.m.

Interment at Bunyan Cemetery following the service.
