INTERMENT: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard.

VISITATION: 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, October 23rd at Harrell Funeral Home.

Michael Marmion Spann (92) was born September 27, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas. He went to be with his LORD October 21, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of Michael Crowley Spann and Corinne Ysabella (Marmion) Spann. He was united in marriage to Mildred Marie Nethery on August 17, 1951 and she preceded him in death on June 17, 1995. On November 14, 1999 he was united in marriage to Susan (Scoggins) Wiggins.

Michael is survived by his wife, Susan Spann of Dublin; his daughters, Deborah Corinne George of Mansfield, Texas and Charlotte Irona Spann of Alvin, Texas; His grandchildren, Michael Sodolak, David Allen Murin, Joseph Daniel Murin, Tracy Johanna Weeks, Cory Wayne Kollatschny, Victoria Reeves and Corinna Pulatie; (8) Great-grandchildren: His sons by marriage: Mark Reeves and wife, Mona of Damascus, OR. and Gerald Wiggins of Valdosta, GA. and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Michael was a graduate of Dallas Woodrow Wilson High School in 1942, he had his Radio Ham Operator's License since the age of 14 (Call Sign W51MF),a veteran of the U.S.Navy in W.W.II, a Charter Member of the Parker Co. Radio Club and a member of the Highland Ave. Congregational Methodist Church in Dublin. He retired from the Exxon Company in 1978 as a Research Engineer.
