Michael Boyd "Mack" Day, 79, went to be with the Lord, one day before his 80th birthday, on September 4, 2021 in Weatherford, Texas. He was born on September 5, 1941 in Stephenville, Texas to his parents James Loren Day and Mary Vestina Green. Mack loved God, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed coon hunting, hog hunting, fishing, rooster fighting and raising his animals. Mack took pride in being the father of his two children, Sherrie Day Wood and Micheal Day.

He is preceeded in death by his granddaughter Destiny Thurman, his parents James Loren Day and Mary Vestina Green, his siblings George, Rhetha, Willie, Douglas, Edith, Conley, Jay, and his companion of 40 years Judy Moore Little.

Mack is survived by his children Sherrie Day Wood of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Micheal Day of Dublin, Texas, his grandchildren Byron Thurman, Jr., Chad Coats, Micheal Day II, and Meagan Day, his siblings Betty Sue Burge of Hamilton, Texas and Ray Day (Kay) of Covington, Texas, his hunting buddies Burl Bybee, Billy Murphy, and Kerrey Welch, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him greatly.
