Michael Robert "Mike" Cornett, 57, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2021 at the DeLeon Nursing Home. Mike was born on June 11, 1964 in Charleston, SC to his parents Jim George Cornett, JR. and Melinda Lou (Burris) Grimes. Mike was a carpenter.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jim and Becky Cornett of Dublin, Texas, his sister and brother-in-law Kattie and Fred Lisso of Dublin, Texas, his sister and brother-in-law Iris and Jason Thorne of West Palm Beach, Florida, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives who will miss him dearly.
