The graveside service will be Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pecan Cemetery in Erath County.

ImoJean Carroll, 93, passed away on October 8, 2019 in Stephenville, Texas. She was born May 27, 1926 in Purves, Texas to her parents John Smelley and Maude (Jones) Smelley. She was a homemaker who had worked cleaning the Carlton Baptist Church and worked at the Glen Rose nuclear power plant and at the Hico Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Carlton Baptist Church. ImoJean married Claudean Carroll on April 24, 1945 and raised four children.

ImoJean was preceded in death by her husband, Claudean in 2007, her sister Nellene Smelley, and her daughter Cynthia Brown in 2018.
