Louis Edward Mote Jr.,79, went to be with the Lord on July 8th, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. Eddie was born on December 1, 1942, in Stephenville, Texas to his parents Louis Edward Mote and Annie Louise (Mull) Mote. He married his wife Margret Ann (Prater) Mote on May 29, 1964. Together they had two children. Eddie loved music and having his own vegetable garden. He was constantly tinkering with his lawnmowers and anything else he could find as long as it was outside. He always enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and being with his family. His favorite title was being a "Papa".

Eddie is survived by his wife Margret Mote of Stephenville, Texas. His daughter and son-in-law Stacey and Darrian Dover of Queen City, Texas. His daughter and fiancé Sheila Mote and Randy Rogers of Fort Worth, Texas. His grandkids Derrick Dover, Ashley Miller, Bryce Dover, and Aaron Miller. As well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss his him dearly.
