FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 am. Saturday, January 17 at Harrell Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: Saturday morning before the funeral service.
INTERMENT: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery in Dublin, Texas.
Lorene Taylor Gaines was born on September 18, 1919 in Pleasant Grove, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on January 6, 2015 in Las Cruces, NM. at the age of 95. She was the daughter of William Robert Taylor and Julina (Denton) Taylor. She was united in marriage to Thomas Blanton Gaines on May 15, 1940 in Austin, Texas and to this union 2 daughters were born. Her husband preceded her in death on December 1, 2009.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Wanda & Ray Shultz of Las Cruces, NM. and Peggy Morrison of La Jolla, Calif.
Her grandsons & wife: Jason & Dallas Shultz and Taylor Morrison. Her great-grandchildren: Aspen & Cody Shultz; Her brothers-in-law: Jack & Joe Gaines; Her sisters-in-law: Lois Pettijohn and Connie Turley and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She will be laid to rest by her husband in the Dublin Liveoak Cemetery following the funeral service
