Linda Nell Jones, 71, passed away on January 5, 2021 in Stephenville, Texas. She was born on March 2, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents Jackson Marion Hill and Willie Frances (Stone) Hill. She married Freddie Jones on June 29, 1968 in Kennedale, Texas and together they had three children. She worked for DeLeon Independent School District in the Life Skills class room. Linda was a member of Highland Congregational Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jackson Marion Hill and Willie Frances (Stone) Hill, her husband Freddie Jones, her sister Diane Layne, and her mother-in-law Nancy Jones.

Linda is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Deanna and Darren Turley of Dublin, Texas, Cindy and Jr. Ferguson of Lipan, Texas, her son Lee Jones of Dublin, Texas, her grandchildren Jaclyn and Chris Baugh, Madison Turley, Lance Ferguson, Brayden Jones, Lacee Ferguson, her great-grandchildren Layla Ferguson and one on the way, her father-in-law Carl Jones and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2021 from 6-8:00pm at Harrell Memorial Chapel.

Church service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:30am at the First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas.

Interment will be at Lowell Cemetery in Erath County.
