A funeral service for Lewis Smith will be Monday, July 29th 2019 at 10:30am in Harrell Memorial Chapel.

Lewis will be buried the following day, Tuesday July 30th at 11:00am in Myrtle Cemetery located in Ennis, Texas.

Lewis Archie Smith, 98, passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2019 in Dublin, Texas. He was born in Drumright, Oklahoma on July 27th, 1920 to John Edward Smith and Sylvia Louise (Lee) Smith.

Lewis was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Horse Calvary. He reenlisted in the Army Aircore. After his military service, he worked as a driller in the oilfield and he also farmed peanuts and cattle. Lewis was a member of the Edna Hill Baptist Church. Lewis married Helen Louise Worthy on April 6, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lewis was preceeded in death by his wife in 2010.

His Friends - Michael Gilder and Ginger Gilder of Dublin, Texas

and many other friends and relatives who will miss him.
