Leta Fay Stanley Meszkat was born on May 24, 1948 in Spur, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on August 10, 2015 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 17 days.

Leta was the daughter of Roy Lee Stanley and Ader Mae (Huse) Stanley. She was united in marriage to Johann Meszkat on November 18, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Anna (Stanley) Lawson and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Wallace.
