FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 pm. Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Harrell Memorial Chapel, Burial at Proctor Cemetery with Military Honors
VISITATION: Friday from 7 pm until 9 pm at Harrell Funeral Home
MEMORIALS TO: Harrell Funeral Home. Future indigent burial fund
Kenneth Joe Cox was born March 28, 1942 in Comanche County. He went to be with the LORD on June 21, 2016 at the age of 74 years. He was the son of Carl Abraham Cox and Rudy Carolyn (Hyatt) Cox. He was united in marriage to Nancy Nell Whitefield on October 13, 1967 in Stephenville, Texas and to this union one son was born.
Kenneth Joe Cox is survived by his wife Nancy Cox of Proctor, Texas his son & daughter-in-law Carl & Tammy Cox of Proctor, Texas his grandchildren Rebecca Cox of Stephenville, Texas Kyle Dowdy of Stephenville, Texas Chase Abernathy of Proctor, Texas Devon Baker of Proctor, Texas his sister Jackie Harkins of Pasadena, Texas and numerouse nieces, nephews and other relatives that will miss him dearly.
He served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam era.
He was a farmer and a truck driver.
