Judy Karen Grounds was born on January 3, 1943 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on September 7, 2016 in Granbury at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 3 days. She was the daughter of James A. Davis, Jr. and Dwindolyn Pearl (Crouch) Davis. She was united in marriage to James Cameron Grounds and to this union 2 sons were born. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 6, 2011.
Judy is survived by her sons- Charles Grounds of Granbury, Texas and James R. Grounds of Sherman, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and her sister Linda Davis Baker of the State of Georgia.
Judy was a retired secretary and clerk for the Department of the Treasury and a member of the Methodist Church in Gainsville, Texas.
