Johnny Jessupp Jones, 71, passed away on January 26, 2021 in Stephenville, Texas. He was born on April 26, 1949 in Bastrop, Louisiana to his parents Eugene Connel Jones and Johnnie Lee (Jones) Jones. Johnny worked as an electrician most of his life. He married Nelda (Patton) Jones in Dublin, Texas on December 18, 1971. Johnny was honorably discharged after eight years of service in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his son Johnny Allen Jones in 2004.

Johnny is survived by his wife Nelda (Patton) Jones of Dublin, Texas, his daughter and son-in-law Stacey Marie Whiteley and Joe McCartney of Dublin, Texas, his granddaughters Mickey Denise Coggin of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Hanna Maria Thompson of Stephenville, Texas, K.C. Rose Whiteley of Dublin, Texas, his grandson Dallas Lee Whiteley of Dublin, Texas, his three great-grandchildren and one on the way, and numerous brother, sisters and many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 11:00am at the Old Dublin Memorial Park Cemetery.
