Joe Darrell Westmoreland, 87, has gone to be with the LORD on July 30, 2017. He was born on April 15, 1930, in Comanche County, Texas. His parents were Thomas Oce Westmoreland and Effie (Hughes) Westmoreland.
Joe served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Bobbye (Barnett) Westmoreland on October 24, 2007, in Gustine, Texas. Joe worked for the Union Pacific Railroad until he retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Joe will be remembered by his wife - Bobbye Westmoreland of Gustine, Texas; his sons - Darrell Westmoreland of Lubbock, Texas, Kevin Westmoreland of Weatherford, Texas, Lanny Jennings of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ronnie Allen of Golthswaite, Texas; his daughters - Sherri Jo Faulkner of Mobile, Alabama, Gina Muller of Arlington, Texas, and Balinda Allen of Graham, Texas; his brother - Jerry Westmoreland of Dublin, Texas; four grandchildren & several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
