Joe Robert Howell passed away on December 12, 2020.

Joe was born on May 23, 1943 in Gorman, Texas to (father) James Grady Howell and (mother) Bessi Alice (Scott) Howell.

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was the kindest, most caring man and is loved by all including his best friend and loyal companion, his dog, Daisy. Joe was a retired farmer and truck driver.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister Betty Byars, and grandson Aaron Jernigan.

Joe is survived by his wife Patsy (Jaggars) Howell of Dublin, Texas, his two sisters Sue Partain of Cooper, Texas and Judy Read of Justin, Texas, three daughters, Dee and her husband Roger Shugart of Dublin, Texas, Dena and her husband Maury Jernigan of Dublin, Texas, Debbie and her husband Johnny Bailey of Deleon, Texas, his eleven grandchildren, Shawn Shugart of Eligin, OK, Derik Shugart of Irving, TX, James Ables of Dublin, Texas, Vondaleann Roemisch of Deleon, Texas, Mauri Jernigan of Weatherford, TX, Brice of Piedmont, SC, Bryan Loice of Maypearl, TX, Jessica Meador of Proctor, TX, Justin Lioce of Dublin, TX, Kayson Bailey of Stephenville, Texas, 29 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service at 12:30 at the Harrell Memorial Chapel.

Service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Harrell Memorial Chapel.
