Jimmie Duane Whitehead, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 23, 2019. He was born in Dublin, Texas on December 23, 1939 to his parents, George Whitehead and Lillian (Lowery) Whitehead. He was a graduate of Dublin High School and a member of the Double N Cowboy Church. Jimmie was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1963 to 1965. After the military, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Erath County for 44 years.

Jimmie married Anna Lois Garnett on January 1966, in Matador, Texas. Together they raise two children, Dan and D'Ann.
