Jennadine "Jan"
Jones
December 15, 1941 – June 21, 2021
Jennadine "Jan" Jones, 79, went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2021 in Stephenville, Texas. She was born on December 15, 1941 in Gorman, Texas to her parents Ava Alene (Carleton) and Lewis Dillard Lee. She graduated high school and married her high school sweetheart Lane Jones on July 1, 1960. Together they had four children Teresa, Rebecca, Nickey and Lance. She was a vital part of the running of the family farm and Dairy business. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas. Her children say, "Momma was a very loving, generous soul who always knew just how to lift up someone who needed an encouraging word or deed. She loved her family, and her children were considered God's greatest gifts and no matter how old they were or what they had done she would always be standing beside, and possibly in front, of them to protect them. Do not mess with her kids or grandkids. She leaves behind a love for God and a salvation in our Christ."
She is proceeded in death by her husband Lane Jones on February 23, 2015.
Jan is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Teresa and David Wall of Dublin, Texas and Rebecca and Blake Reeder of Dublin, Texas, her sons and daughters-in-law Nickey and Heather Jones of Dublin, Texas, and Lance and Samantha Jones, and bonus son Billy Hancock of Dublin, Texas, her grandchildren Chandra, Michael, Marcus, Daniel, Brandon, Danielle, Kia, Derek, Mariah, Kline, London, Dillon, and Max, her great-grandchildren Addison, Kaitlynn, Kylie, Kace, Kaizley, Karter, Thomas, Leah, Kaden, and Korbynn, her brother Charles Lee of Midland, Texas and several other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
