Jane Brown Kading of Stephenville passed away on July 21, 2014. She was the daughter of Otis and Mary (McClure) Brown on March 4, 1931 in Dublin, Texas. She was a proud graduate of Dublin High School, class of 1948.

Jane married Horace Wayne Kading August 5, 1950 in Midland, Texas. They lived in Odessa and Hobbs, but made Midland home in 1957.

Jane loved little children, her dogs, watching birds and reading. She was a talented seamstress and volunteered to run the James Bowie Elementary library for many years. After her husband died, she moved to Lake Leon and then home to Dublin, just in time to help plan her 50th class reunion.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Dixie Lee McIlroy; sister, Maxine Hawkins; and brothers, Sam Brown and Don Hoover. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Bell & husband - Phillip of Midland, son, Kelly Kading and wife - Jane of Glendale, Arizonia; son-in-law, Ron McIlroy Burnsville, Minnesota. She is also survived by grandchildren, Tracy McIlroy & wife - Lori, Erin McIlroy, Justin Bell & wife - Samatha, Katherine Ehlers & husband Todd, Cameron Kading, and Kendall Kading. Her great grandchildren and Cade and Cole McIlroy, Mae Ehlers, and Michael Bell and numerous other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
