James "Doug" Bowman passed in Fort Worth, Texas on April 16, 2023. Doug was born to his parents Mary Hays and James Bowman on February 10, 1968, in Beardstown, Illinois. He was a kind and compassionate person willing to help anyone. He always found a way to put a smile on your face.

Doug is preceded by his aunt, Donna Swafford, in April of 2023.

He is survived by his daughter, Sierra Bowman, parents, Mary Hays, and James Bowman, his sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Bruce Baugus, sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Johnny Riili, aunt and uncle, Adina and Steve Dunn, nieces and nephews, Allisha and Kevin Stephens, Matthew Baugus, and his cousins, Scott, and Amy Springer, along with other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 2:00pm.

The family would appreciate donations be made to Harrell Funeral Home to help with costs.
