Irene Katherine (Schuessler) Poplin, 90, of Dublin passed away on March 12, 2022 at her home in Stephenville. She was a nursing educator at UTSA Midwestern University in Wichita Falls and retired as associate dean from Tarleton nursing. She was a survivor of World War II and the Kristal Nacht. She retired as Lieutenant Colonel from the National Guard.

She is survived by her two daughters Barbara Poplin and Annette Stevinson, her granddaughters Teresa Garza, Kristen Tousley, Elizabeth Stevenson, and Sarah Voss, her great-granddaughter Anabel Tousley, her great-grandsons Austin Tousley, Brennen Tousley, William Tousley, and Demetrius Bynum, and several other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Memorial funeral mass is Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with lunch to follow. Interment of ashes will be next to her father Henry Schuessler at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Fort Worth.
