FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 am. Saturday, April 30th in Harrell Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 6 T0 8 pm. Friday, April 29th at Harrell Funeral Home.
INTERMENT: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery with Masonic Graveside Rites in Dublin, Texas.
MEMORIALS: To Shriner's Children's Hospital.
Hubert Gene Ward was born on August 5, 1930 in Dublin, Texas. He went to be with his LORD on April 25, 2016 at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 6 days. He was the son of Callie Aaron Ward and Willie Elvira (Dunlap) Ward. He was united in marriage to Mary Frances Bailey on December 23, 1950 in Dublin, Texas and to this union 2 children were born.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of over 65 years - Mary Frances Ward of Dallas, Texas; his son & daughter-in-law - Ed & Ruth Ward of Dallas, Texas; his daughter & son-in-law - Nancy & Andy Hansen of Oceanside, CA.; his (7) grandchildren - Matt & Ashley, Mary & Jerry, Hannah, Rachel & Mitch, Michelle, Rebecca & Josh and Molly & Ben; his (4) great-grandchildren - Madeleine, Catherine, Amelia and Nathan; and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Gene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dublin, the Dublin Masonic Lodge # 504, a Worthy Patron OES Chapter in Page, AZ. & a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Gene was an electrician and member of the IBEW since 1953.
