Harold Bailey "Buck" Clendenen passed away February 5th at his residence in the Highland Community of Erath Co. Texas at the age of 97. "Buck was formally of Comanche, Texas. He was born on January 31, 1920 in San Angelo, Texas. "Buck" was the son of Johnny Clendenen and Bertha Evelyn (Splitgerber) Clendenen. He was united in marriage to Nancy Lee Holliday on February 1, 1947 in Austin, Texas and to this union three daughters were born.

"BucK" is survived by his wife - Nancy Clendenen of Dublin, Texas; his daughters & sons-in-law - Joyce & Dwain Sherrin of Brad, Texas, Jeanne Andrews of Comanche, Texas and Bette & Philip House of Dublin, Texas; his 8 granchildren - Mike Allen, Michelle Upshaw, Mindi House, Nanci Morris, Richard House, Stephanie Elms, Kaci Brooks & Dainen Sherrin; also by numerous great-grandchildren.

He was a rancher and veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army Air Corp.
