Glenna (Akin) Davis of Dublin, Texas passed away surrounded by family members on April 22, 2024, in Stephenville, Texas. Glenna was a Dublin native for many years. She was born to her parents Violet Buchanan and Willard Akin on January 24, 1932, in Dublin, Texas.

Glenna was known for her smiling face and many dedicated years at Walmart. She graduated from Dublin High School and later spent her time in Burleson. During her time in Burleson, she was a devoted member of the Crestmont Baptist Church where she helped form and build the church.

Glenna married her soulmate of 73 years JW Davis, and together they had 4 children and many lifelong memories.

Glenna is preceded in passing by her 2 sons, Danny Lee Davis, Ronald Glenn Davis, and her husband, JW Davis.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary, and Sicili Davis, daughter and son-in-law, Paula, and Larry Thomas, grandchildren, Nick, Emily, Lathan, Kayson, Jeff, Greg, Sara, and Paul, one great grandchild, Presley Thomas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas on April 27, 2024, at 11:00am with interment to follow at New Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.
