Frieda Estep of Decatur, Texas, lived life to the fullest with love for her family, and all those she encountered. Born on December 11, 1934, in Zephyr, Texas, to Stella Mae and Matt Nesmith. Frieda passed away from this life on January 31, 2025, in Decatur, Texas. Frieda was known for her artistry in colors, whether she was showcasing her paintings, her quilts, or anything with fabric. She was a true inspiration, with a love for reading, especially John Grisham, and a passion for traveling and living life to its fullest.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Stella and Matt Nesmith, and her husband, Don Estep. She is survived by her children, Desi and Jeff Gutknecht, Wendell and Penny Black, and Teresa and Elton Brock; her siblings, Delmer and Linda Nesmith, Ann Ogle; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Harrell Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00pm. Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:00am at Harrell Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow at Cottonwood Cemetery.
