On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, Florencio "Lencho" Lopez, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 53. Florencio "Lencho" Lopez was born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico to Beatriz Lopez and Jose Perez, and lived in Dublin, Texas for over 30 years.  His loving wife is María de la Luz Lopez. Together they raised four children.

Florencio was a hard working, family-loving man. He worked as a rancher and farmer throughout his life. He loved the farm and ranch life, surrounded by animals and country roads. He served with passion, kindness, and with all his heart to many without ever asking for anything in return. His spirit for serving reached children at St. Judes Hospital, as he was a sponsor to many children there. His smile and laughter was contagious, his presence brought light and joy. He made a long-lasting impact to all who knew him.

Florencio is survived by his wife María de la Luz, his four children, Mariana, Maria A., Efrain, and Nuve, son-in-law, Reynaldo Contreras and granddaughter, Galilea, and his mother Beatriz Lopez.

Viewing and Visitation: Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, Texas, from 12pm- 8pm, Rosary at 6 pm.

Church Service: Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 2pm at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dublin on Highway 377

Burial Service: Erath Gardens Cemetery on Highway 377
