Dorcie Fayrene Spurger was born October 25, 1922 in Paint Rock, Texas. She went to be with her LORD on October 19, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of Rudolph Albert Kubena and Ora Arleta (Reed) Kubena. She was united in marriage to Henry Duane Spurger, Sr. on Nov. 24, 1941 in Vancourt, Texas and to this union 6 children were born. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Henry Duane Spurger, Jr. in November of 2010 and Bryan Lane Spurger in December of 2005.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Duane Spurger, Sr. of Dublin; her daughters, Barbara Hudson of Glen Rose, Texas and Jo Spurger of Granbury, Texas; her sons, Lyle Spurger of Proctor, Texas and Matthew Spurger of Gustine, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
