Everett Eugene "Gene" Campbell was born on August 22, 1937 in Dublin, Texas. He went to be with his LORD on September 7, 2014 at the age of 77 years and 16 days.

He was the son of Albin Hobert Campbell and Maurine Alice (Ethetton) Campbell. He was united in marriage to Luetta Jean Lloyd on August 24, 1956 and to this union 3 children were born.

He is survived by his wife - Luetta Jean Campbell; his sons & daughters-in-law: William Eugene (Bill) & Deanna Campbell and Mark Wayne & Tina Campbell; his daughter & son-in-law: Brenda Kay and Duane Taylor; his sister & brother-in-law:Pat & Lynn Powell; his grandchildren, Michael Campbell, Sharla & husband-Dan Gullette, Tasha & husband - Jeff Pack, Ashley & husband, Cale Hollingsworth, Bob & wife, Sheila Taylor and Amy & husband, Junior LeJeune. Great-grandchilden;: Mason, Hunter & Makenna Warren, Alyssa Pack, Morgan & Devin Gullette, Gabby & Chloe Taylor, Carter Tarvin, Gage Lejeune and Tylee Hollingsworth and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was a member of the Greens Creek Baptist Church.
