Ester Flodean McMillian has joined the Lord in heaven on January 19, 2018. She was the daughter of Floyd Benjamin Funderburg and Myrtle Elizabeth (Lawhon). Born in Stonewall County,Texas on April 4, 1926, Ester was one of five children.

She married Jesse Lloyd McMillian on March 23, 1946 in Dublin. Together they raised ten children. Ester spent time working as a certified nursing assistant and as a homemaker. She loved her kids and grandchildren!

Ester was preceded in death by her husband in June of 1997. Also preceding was her two sisters - Lorita Elizabeth and Mary Lois, her two brothers - Harvey B. and Benjamin Floyd, Jr., and one granddaughter.

Ester leaves behind her children - Gloria Naul of Stephenville, Texas, Jesse Leon McMillian of Proctor, Texas, Carolyn Harbin of Dublin, Nelda Murphy & husband Possum of Carlton, Texas, Tim &  Liz McMillian of Dublin, Elton &  Linda McMillian of Jasper, Texas, Wesley & Tracey McMillian of Dublin, Tony & Shelly McMillian of Dublin, Wendell McMillian of Dublin, Lester McMillian of Alexander; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or any children's organization. A luncheon, at First Baptist Church in Dublin.
