Ernest Dale Clendenin of Comanche, Texas passed from this life on July 14, 2025, in Comanche, Texas with his loved ones by his side. Born on October 29, 1943, in Dublin, Texas to Zora Lee and Elzia Ernest Clendenin, Ernest was known for his hardworking ethic, whether in his career as a machinist or his side passion for antique dealing. He was a wonderful man, a great father, and most of all, a cherished grandfather.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, Zora and Elzia Clendenin, his son, Troy Dale Clendenin, his sisters, Terra Denise Harbuck and Lana Fay Clendenin, and his brother, Norman Clendenin. He is survived by his son, Scot Clendenin, his sister, Donna Sue French, his daughter-in-law, Kathy Clendenin, his grandchildren, Dylan Clendenin, Aaron Clendenin, Collin Clendenin, Sarah Willet, Bailey Harbuck, Britain Harbuck, Brooklyn Harbuck, long-time friends, Dominic and Imogene Arquero, John Barber, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family who will dearly miss his presence.
