Eddie Lee Burns, 78, passed away on May 10, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. Eddie was born on June 28, 1941 in Graham, Texas to his parents Earl Lee Burns, Jr. and Verbie (Wood) Burns. He attended Morgan Mill and Stephenville High School. He graduated from high school in 1959 in Justin, Texas. Eddie married his wife, Loretta Lynn Conner on June 20, 2018 in Dublin, Texas. He was a member of the Morgan Mill Methodist Church. Eddie was a veteran in the United States Airforce, he served from 1960-1963. He is preceeded in death by his son Mike Burns, his father Earl Lee Burns, Jr..

Eddie is survived by his wife Loretta Burns of Dublin, Texas his son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Ann Burns of Beaty, Texas, his son Bradley Burns of Dublin, Texas, his mother Verbie Burns of Stephenville, Texas, his two sisters Sarah and Owen Rasberry of Stephenville, Texas and Mary and Joe Harrison of Mingus, Texas, his step-children Bobby Standridge and Myra Chancelor, his grandchildren Bryan Burns of Stephenville, Texas, Candice Burns of Beaty, Texas, Gabrail Burns of Stephenville, Texas, Zachary Burns of Fort Worth, Texas, Kari, Ayrka, Hayden, and great grandchild Rusty Burns of Beaty, Texas, his aunts Geneva Burns, Oneta Burns, and uncle Leon and his wife Dottie Wood and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Graveside service will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at 10:30am at the Barbee Cemetery in Dublin, Texas.
