David Martinez, 55, went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX. David was born on April 20, 1966 in San Saba, TX to his parents Cipriano Martinez and Paula (Dela Cruz). He married Melinda Watts Childers and were together for 29 years. David was a member of the Catholic Church. He was a truck driver for High Pro Feed out of Comanche. David worked at Wolf Nursery and Greens Creek Nursery for many years.

He is survived by his wife Melinda Childers of Comanche, TX, his brothers Celestino Martinez of Stephenville, TX Domingo Martinez of Fresno, CA, and Jesse Martinez of Stephenville, TX, his sisters Adella Silvia of Stephenville, TX and Dora Martinez of Brenham, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss him.

A visitation will be held from 9-4 Thursday and Friday with cremation to follow. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
