Christene Northcutt, 87, passed away on March 25, 2021 in Dublin, Texas. She was born on May 1, 1933 in Lamesa, Texas in Dawson County to her parents Emmet and Emma (Harvey) Turney. She married Garland Benton Northcutt and he preceded her in death in 1990. Christene worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Christene never met a stranger and always looked for the best in everyone. If Christene met you, you became a part of her family.

She is preceded in death by her children JoAnn Aikman, Jimmy Cox, Linda Sparks, Patricia Faye, and Wayne Northcutt, her parents Emmet and Emma Turney, her brothers and sister Bob Turney, Wendell Turney, and Lamoine Turner.

Christene is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Cindy Walsh of Comanche, Texas, Deborah Oden of Dublin, Texas, Sue DeLuna and Ray Turner of Dublin, Texas, Michelle and Chris Almgren of Bangs, Texas, 27 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, her sister Maurene Thurman of Midland, Texas, her extended family Jerry Pettijohn, Becca Mendez and Rhonda House, and numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held prior to the service.

Service will be held at the Harrell Memorial Chapel in Dublin at 10:30 am on Monday, March 29, 2021.

Interment: Pecan Cemetery in Erath County
