FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 pm. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Harrell Memorial Chapel.
Interment: Barbee Cemetery
VISITATION: Friday morning, June 30th from 10:00 to 11:30 am. at Harrell Funeral Home.
Carol June Richey was born on June 27, 1935 in Edna Hill, Texas. She went to be with her LORD June 23. 2017 in Granbury, Texas at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 26 days. She was the daughter of William Lotos "Fat" Gee and Alma Loraine (Stephen) Gee. She was united in marriage to Vestal Lee Richey on September 25, 1953 in Dublin, Texas and to this union 3 children were born.
Carol is survived by her husband - Vestal Lee Richey of Granbury, Texas; her 3 sons & daughters-in-law - Travis Wayne & Yvette Richey of Granbury, Texas, Darrel Lee Richey of Desert Hot Springs , California, and Stephen Lynn & Sheryl Richey of Abilene, Texas; her grandchildren - Dillon, Brian, Tyler & Tanner; (6) great-grandchildren; her sister - Scharlene Starling of San Diego, California and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Carol was a retired secretary & bookkeeper in the construction industry and was member of the First Church of Nazarene in Abilene, Texas
Carol was a lifetime lover of music, taught Sunday School, lead the church choir and sang at many funerals
