FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 am. Wednesday, September 21st at First Baptist Church in Dublin.
VISITATION: Tuesday 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home.
BURIAL: Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.
Carl David Jordan was born on February 17, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. He went to be with his LORD on September 18, 2016 at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 1 day. He was the son of Dr. Carl Jordan and June LaVerne (Turner) Jordan. He was united to Roxie Lea Ash on March 28, 1970 in Dayton, Texas and to this union 3 children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Roxie Jordan of Ruston, LA.: his daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Chris Holden of Dublin, Texas; his sons & daughter-in-law, Carl Daniel & Danica Jordan of Weatherford, Texas & Joshua Jordan of Ruston, LA.; his grandchildren-Hannah Holden, Abby Holden, Kaden Jordan, Kolton Jordan, & Kyler Jordan; his brother & sister-in-law, Paul P. & Martha Jordan of Grand Prairie, Texas; his sister & brother-in-law, Jackie & LaMonte Ford of Hamilton, Texas and a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
David was the National Director of The Karate Alliance and had his 10th Degree Black Belt.
He was a retired professor of Kinesiology at LA Tech University, a U. S. Army veteran and a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, LA.
