Byron "BT" Tilmon Ake, 77, passed away on November 7, 2020 in Dublin, Texas. BT was born on June 24, 1943 in Whittier, California to his parents Clyde Tilmon Ake and Oleghea (Squires) Ake. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was also a retired truck driver for the Jacobson Transport LLC.

BT is survived by his son Tony Ake of Dublin, Texas, his daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Joe Koehler of Mineral Wells, Texas, his son and daughter-in-law Travis and Mandy Ake of Dublin, Texas, his daughter Kristi Ake Higgins of San Antonio, Texas, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, his brother Delton Ake of Waxahachie, Texas, his sister Beverly Bryan of Stamford, Texas, and his sister Phyllis McCorkle of San Angelo, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at the First United Methodist Church in Gorman, Texas.
