Bruce Dwaine Humphrey, 73, went to be with the lord on October 20, 2021 in Pulaski County. Bruce was born on May 21, 1948 in Eastland, Texas to his parents Dairl Humphrey and Thelma (Musick) Humphrey. He married Patsy Cates in 1991 and raised three children together. Bruce was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for twenty-five years. He loved to spend his free time fishing, camping, coon and deer hunting, and gardening.

Bruce was proceeded in death by his parents, his sister Billie Dairlene Humphrey, and his brother-in-law Jim Bettge.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Cates of Dublin, Texas, his brother and sister-in-law Bobby Wayne and Pam Humphrey of Huntington, Texas, his sister Barbara Bettge of Flat, Texas, his daughters Misty and Sheila Humphrey of Grand Prairie, Texas, his son Brian David Humphrey, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
